My This table combines several rare woods with hand cut designs. The main body of the table is Asian Logan Berry. One board was cut in sequence so the grain flows around the entire piece using the exposed joinery. The top is a figured piece of book-matched Australian Eucalyptus surrounded by Bird's Eye Maple. The sides of the case as well as the drawer were hand cut using a small scroll saw blade; a CNC cannot do this work and a laser would leave all the edges jet black. The legs are Mahogany from Honduras with a fluted design. The figure and color in all of the woods were brought out with an oil and wax mixture called Rubio Pure; I never use stain. This one-of-a-kind display table will stand out as a custom art piece in any home.
