I love making art that is also functional. This Contemporary shelf was hand cut on my scroll saw- a CNC cannot do this and a laser would leave all the edges jet black. I used a live edge piece of Tiger Maple for the top and the brackets are storm fallen Walnut. The figure in both woods were highlighted with Teak oil and a light wax; I never use stain. This handmade shelf will make a wonderful gift for any art lover's home.
