Shannon BufordShannon is, for the most part, a self taught artist. As a young girl growing up in the small town of Marble Falls, TX, her first memories of loving art began with drawing. Her mother worked at a local photo lab, which became a creative playground of materials. She focused on the art of dance from second grade through high school and taught classes until the age of 23. She became a mother as a young adult and her attention switched to raising her four young children. Shannon’s only training in fine arts includes the routine instruction in grade school, art I-III in high school as electives and a couple of classes in college.
During the summer of 2014, her husband received a job opportunity that brought Shannon and her family to Tomball. This proved to be a pivotal move that has allowed her to expand her creative mind. Her new found time and space have blessed her with the opportunity to finally exercise her God given talent. As a self-driven individual, she enjoys experimenting with new mediums and expanding her abilities to keep the passion burning. |
