Hannah BladhMy art is all about finding beauty and interest in the simple things around me.
I’ve been painting since I was a little kid, but have been more seriously learning and practicing since I started my study of art at BYU-Idaho in 2014. I graduated with a degree in Art from BYUI in 2020. I use mostly oil paint, but occasionally I’ll dabble with acrylic. I love the layerability of both. I’m a big advocate for painting every day. I think that consistency, even if it’s messy and imperfect, will teach you more than worrying about making perfect pieces ever will. I LOVE painting. The whole artistic process makes me happy. I get so fulfilled when I can bring other people joy with my art. It’s a way for me to express my view of the world. I love helping others to see the beauty in the everyday things in life. I believe that mindfully chosen and displayed art can influence your life for the better. I was born in Texas, and grew up mostly in North Carolina, but I’ve moved around a bit- living in California, South Carolina, and Idaho too. My husband Chaz and I moved to Houston in December of 2020. *Bladh is pronounced like “blade” |
