Roberta Sajda continues to explore life through watercolor this summer. After retiring from teaching in Klein she turned her energies to her own path as an artist. She enjoys portraits and regularly does commissions of loved ones. Her photography, sculpture, drawing and paintings have won countless awards. This July she will be teaching on Tuesdays from 1-3:30 in her studio. She can be reached at rodon@flash.net

Hilda Rueda,Visual Artist, and Sande Larson, Potter, demonstrated how their studios worked while giving the students information on the life of the artist. The students were split into two groups and spent an hour with each artist. Questions flowed from a variety of perspectives, befitting a group of budding artists, after which each student created a design on a tile, using a live model, with Hilda and manipulated a lump of clay to create a small sculpture, mask or face with Sande. The students were open and receptive and from their involvement and the pieces they created, we will be seeing beautiful works of art from this next generation of artists.
